Meet Emma.

Everyone that is going to be in our wedding means so much to us. We thought it would be fun to spend the next few weeks introducing you to everyone!

Meet Emma, our two and a half year old niece. Emma is such a ham and full of positive energy. She has everyone wrapped around her finger. She is going to be our flower girl in November. We love her to pieces.

I want to make a movie. If you know me, chances are that you read that and laughed because I have said it so many times. This time is different, this time it will happen. I will be taking my small, sweet Cannon powershot and making it happen. I'm still working the details out, but I hope to share my progress along the way.

One of my favorite app's is timehop. It gives you past photos and posts from the exact date in your social media history. You can sync it to facebook, instagram, twitter and even your photo album in your phone. Today has been a rough one at work and I NEEDED to see this. I strive to be the positive one, and most days I am. I needed to be reminded that life is about could be worse. After a lunch break and a cup of coffee, I went back to work with a fresh attitude. Guess what?! It wasn't so bad after all.

Funny how life can give you just what you need when you need it.

On our third anniversary E asked me to marry him.
[I said yes!]

I've been busy planning and gaining inspiration with my Maid of Honor.

Pinterest found inspirations:

Some days November seems so far away and some days it seems like it is so close that I won't be able to do everything that needs to be taken care of. Thankful to have my family and bestie to keep me sane.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."

Sunday Sounds.

When starting a blog one of the things we both knew we wanted to have was a recurrent theme. As music junkies, it wasn't hard to pick a playlist as something we would enjoy to share each week. Every Sunday we will be sharing five songs that we enjoy [and hope that you do too].

1. Settle down- The 1975

2. Hot blooded- Doom & Gloom
I've been a fan of Nate's for long time. Once upon a time, I was a teenager and he was in a boy band that I got to meet in Atlanta. Years later I rediscovered his music when  he was with the short lived Castledoor. He and his wife now blog and sing as the duo Doom & Gloom. The first time that I heard this song,  I think I had it on repeat for a few hours. His voice has always been one of my favorites.

3. Skinny love- Covered by Ed Sheeran.
This Bon Iver song has been covered by many people. While Birdy's version is a close second cover, Ed Sheeran has to be my favorite.

4. The Wire- Haim

5. Bob Dylan- Mr.Tambourine Man
I love Bob Dylan (who doesn't?!) This was the song that introduced me to Dylan. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

We met in October  2011.
He asked me to be his girlfriend in January 2012.
We've been inseparable since.

We decided to create this blog to share the adventures, both big and small, of our life together.
